Meet Me

Ashlynn Padmore, LCSW

My name is Ashlynn Padmore (Wigen) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-8911315) in Hayden, Idaho. Mental health is my passion, which is why I decided to pursue a career dedicated to supporting individuals on their own mental health journeys.

I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Lewis-Clark State College and my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boise State University. I have experience working with children, teens, families, couples and adults. In the present, I enjoy working primarily with adult women. I am an inclusive and secular therapist and I am LGBTQIA+ affirming.
I am trained in EMDR, which stands for Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing. During EMDR, individuals focus on a traumatic memory while experiencing bilateral stimulation. This stimulation reduces the distressing emotion associated with the memory.
I utilize this intervention as needed to treat trauma and promote healing. While trained in EMDR, I utilize a wide variety of interventions and treatment practices tailored to the client sitting across from me. I consider myself to be a person-centered, relational therapist that highly values the therapeutic relationship over all else.

I understand how intimidating scheduling that first therapy session may be. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgemental space where you feel heard, empowered, valued and understood. I want to ensure that I have a solid understanding of your goals for therapy. We will work together to ensure you are getting what you need out of your therapy sessions and feel that you are on the path to growth and healing.

On a more personal note, I am an avid reader and podcast listener. I enjoy being active, whether that be through weight lifting, hiking or yoga. I love to cook, learn new things, travel and spend time with my husband, family, friends and my two fur babies.
